Dodental Myanmar boven de 1000, totale verwoesting na aardbeving

Steeds meer huiveringwekkende beelden uit Myanmar, gecombineerd met steeds meer huiveringwekkende gegevens. De gevolgen van de aardbeving (7.7 op de schaal van Richter) van gisteren worden steeds duidelijker, al liggen er nog steeds ontiegelijk veel mensen onder het puin. Het officiële dodental is opgelopen tot ruim 1000, met tot dusver 2376 gewonden. Dat gaan er nog veel meer worden, in de komende uren en dagen. In buurland Thailand stierven ook negen mensen, zitten er nog minstens 30 vast onder het puin en zijn er 49 vermist. Onprettige beelden van totale verwoesting na de breek.
