Bovenstaande tweets door TIME-eigenaar Marc Benioff (wiki) gelden dan misschien niet als officiële endorsement. Maar die bovenstaande tweet betreft een longread van 2 oktober die hij nu ineens expliciet met het citaat "Harris declined repeated requests for an interview for this story. In contrast, Trump talked about his policy vision with a TIME reporter for 90 minutes across two interviews" tweet ÉN daarna zelf nog eens retweet. Hetzelfde geldt voor z'n eigen bijsluiter daaronder, en in de vibe-based analysis geldt dit nu eenmaal wel degelijk als officiële endorsement (sorry wij maken de regels niet).

Maar dan, nog vele malen leuker: de onderstaande mega-tweet van Stanley Kubricks dochter en componist van Full Metal Jackets soundtrack, Vivian Kubrick (wiki). Het betreft het gebruik van scenes uit Full Metal Jacket in Trumps anti-woke military campagnevideo, waarover Kubrick schrijft:

"I agree in principle that an anti-war movie is incongruous with promoting the idea of a tough non-woke US military and thus war itself (...). Because I’m sure the irony of using FMJ footage is not lost on Trump or his team - Trump is always seeking to end wars and use peaceful methods. (...) And thus, on this tooth and claw planet, you need a very strong military - so I’m going to stick with the idea that FMJ footage was used primarily because of its powerful, realistic portrayal of boot camp, juxtaposed with the entirely demoralizing and inappropriate injection of WOKE ideology into the USA military. Which I agree with myself and which I’m certain my father would have agreed with."

Kleine kanttekening: wij denken dat de ironie van een anti-oorlogsfilm inzetten voor een militaire relclame Trumps team wel degelijk ontgaan is, want dat ontgaat het mensen - volkomen terecht - al generaties, omdat oorlog er """onbedoeld""" soms zo waanzinnig in beeld wordt gebracht.
